Dr. Noel completed his residency in 2011 at the Michigan State University Community Program, following medical school which he completed in 2006 at Des Moines University. When asked why he decided to leave North Dakota after ten years, he enthusiastically answered, “Two reasons. My family and I fell in love with the small, tight-knit community Minot provided, but we were looking for a place where we would be closer to the mountains and enjoy outdoor activities all year long, and Montrose provided both.”
Dr. Noel is excited to implement his patient-care philosophy in the community of Montrose. “I like to approach patient care as a partnership. They are relying on my expertise to treat their health conditions; so, I always want to make sure each patient has a clear understanding of why I recommend certain treatments.”
When asked why Dr. Noel chose to go into such a challenging and rewarding career his answer was something that we can all relate to, “My mom was a nurse, and I loved seeing how she helped those in need, and how much people looked up to her. From a child, I knew I wanted to be a doctor, and never changed my mind.” Furthermore, Dr. Noel adds, “When I was in Medical School, I quickly learned that I wanted to be in a field where I can perform surgeries, and otolaryngology allowed me to operate on all ages with a wide variety of surgical options. It definitely makes me feel good about providing quality medical care to patients of all ages.”
Dr. Noel looks forward to seeing what opportunities Montrose will bring him and the opportunities he can bring to the people of Montrose and surrounding areas. Colorado West Otolaryngologists also partners with Colorado West Audiologists, Colorado West General Surgery, and ReGenesis Plastic Surgery and Dermatology to provide an all-in-one patient care.
